Discrimination in Employment

Dear All,


I am student of LLB, a friend of Mine is working with a very reputed co. All the employees expect him are working in the comfort of A/C but his cabine is without A/C , Noisy (Near Generator) and about 2 Meter away from toilet (Factories Act ).

Pl. advice is the above case is not discrimatornory in nature what are the options with the employee. If any learned member can provide me with a case regarding the above situation it will be very help full.

Smoothly he can demand for that, if he demanded to provide that a/c facility he may loose, so it is better to go smoothly.

if possible to provide ac in resonable way means not affect employees work , then employer have to provide otherwise can take steps

More than legal it is a HR issue ask your friend to discuss the same with HR to sort out the problem faced by him.
