I am a male 61 years old. I have been duped into a marriage with lady aged 47 years old.. It was not registered but done at home with priest. The only evedence is photograph and video in front of 4 people, I had not done any physical contact with her.Now the lady is demanding 3 Lakh to close the marriage. Though the marriage was not registered, it is a legally held marriage, so if you want to get away from the present crisis and situation, it is better to go fora mutual consent divorce with her by paying her the money arrived at by an amicable talks.

Agree word to word with Kalaiselvan Sir.The marriage is valid though not registered,photographs and video are suffice to prove it.How would you prove you had no physical contact ? and even if you prove it, it will not hold any weightage in your case.Please try to close the case as soon as possible with minimal fuss on amicable terms.It will save you time money and further harassment.
