divorce and hma24

dear frnds, i filed divorce on desertion of 2yrs,wife has filed hma24,next hearing is of argument, my advocate is saying if d interim maintenance decided is more we will withdrw divorce petition, thn there is no need to pay her. frnds pls tell me wt shall i do now? does by withdrawing of divorce there is no question of paying her?

You are adviced to widraw divorce petition before deciding the application of maintenaince. else after that there is no benefit of widraw of divorce petition as she will be entitled to get maintenance and will file the case of execution.

so widraw that before next date of hearing.
