Does cancelled 498a complaint helps in getting divorce

498a complaint lodged by my wife is cancelled by police though it is in SP office from one year and yet to go to court for final cancellation.

Can it be a very big thing in getting divorce, if I file divorce case ?

Please do not file divorce in hurry. Think all the aspects,concerned to a good advocate. Read few judgements related to 498a and 125 crpc available on net and then file the case with full preparation. Don't take it lightly

498a woman cannot be tursted second time. Divorce is the only option.

Get certified copy of the order cancelling/closing of the complaint filed by your wife, it tentamounts to cruelity, which is a good ground for divorce clubbed with other events.

Consult a local prudent lawyer for further analysies, guidance, advise and proceeding.
