Domestic violence-60 days deadline for solving???

 Is it true all Doestic Violence cases have to be settled in 60 days by the court???????

What if it doesnt go like this.

I filed a petitin on 3-3-2011. So far nothing has moved, only D.I.R submitted.

Pls. advice what shd I do to hurry the matter ???

It is mentioned in The ACT and in reality Courts are over burdened with cases clubbed with subjective delay and latches by parties to the case.

2. If it does not go like that then approach superior Court to  give direction to your Cour to go like that i.e follow so far as possible what is mentioned in the Act to give complete justice to parties in the case.

3. What you should do to hurry the matter, advise is mentioned in para 2.

Yes you are right, but it is not possible to finish DV act cases within 60 days.

Any one having any idea here, What the time limit in dowry demanding case u/s 406 (4) ?

FIR is on 12/05/2011, But case or trial still not started ?

But as per my knowledge upon enquiry made into my case, It is transferred into mahilla court by criminal court magistrate. By stating the reason that it is not a dowry case, No more information to me.

Case requested by me upon all accussed in my complaint u/s 156(3). On my case magistrate give a date of submission of status report to IO is 10/10/2011.

What is status report in court language ?  (Please too confirm)

Any comments is welcomed.
