Domestic violence case withdrawal

Hello Experts,

How to file withdrawal of Domestic violence case? Could you please share the memo format. Thanks in advance.

Domestic Violence case is a criminal case, such case cannot be withdrawn according to whims and fancies of petitioner, the case has to undergo trial and then disposed off accordingly.

What had made you to file this case in the first place and what is making you to withdraw now.

It can be done by the investigating officer only. The case depends on the investigation done by him.

As per my knowledge and experience.....complainant can withdraw a complaint under DV Act. Its quasi criminal.
