donestic voilence

My wife has left me on jan13 and filled maintanace case in oct 13. Now she has filled domestic voilence after 1 year in jan 14 got information by protection officer on phne. What should i do and what can be happen in domestic voilence.

1. finf out whether its mere complaint or a petition. 2. if its a case you should contest it and not let go expartee. 3. if a complaint then not to worry much.

What would happen would depend upon what reliefs are claimed in the DV case. Appear in the case when notice is issued to you and contest the case on merit. As adviced above the case should not be left to proceed exparte.
