With just three words of a query and without stating facts, you can not expect precise guidance, particularly without stating the religion and other facts.   The presumption is that the second marriage is in Muslims and spouses belong to other religions.  In case spouses belong to other religions, without divorce and annulling marriage legally, there is no legality, and sanctity to the second marriage.  Regarding other facts like cheating (suppressing first marriage) etc., the police may admit a complaint.

You can also file a case under Domestic Violence Act

What are the facts? What is the issue?

Dr J C Vashista (Advocate)     17 April 2020

No facts posted.

The parties profess Hinduism, Muslims, Christians or any other religion ?

How do you say it is second marriage, do you have any evidence to your averments/ statement ?

Prima faice it is a time pass topic for debate.

However, if there is some truth it is better to consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for appreciation of facts, professional guidance and necessary proceeding.
