Dv act wife in desertion

sir, if a legally wedded woman(HMA) is kicked out from her  joint in laws family house by her husband giving mental torture leaving behind her child, is it mandatory to lodge complaint with police or can she directly moves the court of law from her place of parerental house?

Yes she has both options. But to proceed under DV Act she can only move to prtection officer appointed at her area or may file complaint to court.

you can avail two options: first one is to move the protection officer of Women and Child Develotment Authority of your nearest place: Secondly you can move to Court directly duly engaging a lawer or you can take help from the court to appoint a legal aid to represent your case:

First, go to the PO and call you husband for mediation  and have peaceful talks with souls but not with egos and rights thinking th ewelfare  of your child.

If not realised there are plenty of laws to protect the women and chidren.

you can make use of both options. approach the PO of your area for summoning the husband and drawing out reconciliatory efforts and also ensuring protection to the wife. you can also approach the court in the matter for 498 a.
