Indian Local Staff working at Foreign Consulates in India are generally employed on a Contractual Basis in India. Most often the disputes jurisdiction is mentioned as the Homeland Country. If there is a dispute / disciplinary action taken by the designated Consulate General and the Indian local employee wishes to challenge the same, is there any forum / authority to whom they can appeal for an appeal here in India? Secondly, are such Forign Consulates governed by Labour Courts in India?
