Dear Sir,
A manufacturing establishment incurred the following expenses :
Rs. 1250000/- on labour charges,
Rs. 450000/- on consultancy fees,
Rs. 150500/- on legal charges,
Rs. 45000/- on general exp.
out of the said labour figure only Rs. 75000/- labour job done in our factory premises. Rest of the job done at other places. i.e. some very small cottage industry are finished our semi finish products at their places. After the job was done we paid their labour bill.
My question is that does the establishment liable to pay ESI on the above exp? Pl advise me with section.
