I need your advice on the following issue:
I have filed a divorce petition in the court of law. My wife attended once and since last 3 hearing she is not coming nor her lawyer is coming to attend the case. We are not in touch with each other since long. Now my lawyer has told me that he has set her lawyer and we can proceed for exparte divorce. My question is:
1. What is the time period for appeal in case of exparte divorce.
2. Can she appeal even after expiry of appeal period.
3. Will this be permanent divorce.
4. Can she file petition to claim property and or money from me even if her appeal period is expired.
I have to spend money to do this. I am worried if I pay to lawyers also and on the other hand what if she could get the case reopened later.
Please advice.
