Factories act on over time

Dear Sir,

I have the following query.

Can worker refuse to work Over Time when asked by the manager due to exigencies of work?

Can a manager Force the wqorker to Carryout Over Time work?

Kindly let me have your valuable advise.

manager  cannot force for overtime work.

No one is forced worker to work more than 8 hrs per day or 48 hrs per week. If your factory reqiires OT you have to take the excemption from competent authority.
