Dear Experts,
I need your help my wife has put a DV and anti-dowary cases on me and my entire family member. summery of events are given below:
1. we got married in OCT 2011 in an arranged marriage under blessing of both familes.
2. from oct 2011 to jan 2012 I was tourchered by my wife on many occasions to name a few "i was told to eat raw bringles". " she would drink and abuse me" etc and many more things.
3. in Jan 2012 she left the house without telling me.
4 she called me in around 2 months later and asked for BB phone.
5. during the last of year 2012 she send me a mail telling me that she is in pune.
6. in July 2013 she called me and told me that she wants a MCD in pune where she was working.
7. we both met in court in July, sep in 2012 for counselling.
8. on the day of second motion 09th Jan 2014she called me to one side and said that she wants Rs 50,00,000 and then immeditaly said "ok give me Rs 20,00,000. to which i said i dont have that kind of money and even if i had i would have not given you any penny.
9. she withdrew her consent from the MCD on 9th Jan 2014 .
10. later i was informed that she had already filed a DV against me and my family (me, father, my jija, mother and sister)on 07th Jan 2014.
11. On 3rd Feb 2014 (today) i get a call from women help line in dehradun and have been informed that she has filed a case against me and all my family members(me, father, my jija, mother and sister) in dehradun
few other points. while she was not living with me she use to call me and ask for money contiunisly and i use to send her money of Rs 15000 many times for which i have a bank record. she again asked me for amount of Rs 70,000 as she was in problem with her landlord (about which she never told me). i have a bank record for this also. meanwhile she use to call parents and abuse them (my parents live in a diffrent state and she would do the same with my sister also(she also stayed with her husband in a diffrent state)etc many other things.
1. my question is can she file a case of DV in one state and Anti-dowary in other.??
2. i do not have any rights to save my self and my family???
3. should i file for a divorce case ???
4. what should be my action now ???
request all you learned people to give me my advice as to how can i save myself and my family.
