It is in the hands of the Advocate who is going to cross examine the person.  To help him out the party should tell all the matters in black and white, so that it will help the Advocate to examine properly and prove that it is a false witness.

Cross examination happens in court cases and trials when the opposing counsel has an opportunity to ask questions of the other side's witnesses. Generally, the cross examination is limited to questions that were raised only during direct examination. This is at lawyer's best chance to discredit a witness or to make him or her appear unreliable. Successful cross examinations are able to get the attention of the jury or the judge, and to expose the holes that may be present in the other side's case. Cross examine a witness with just the right amount of authority, personality and persuasion.
