Falsely accused

Someone falsely accused me of assault, claiming I hit them, and they arranged fake witnesses. However, there is no wound certificate to support their claim. Without a wound certificate, is this case considered weak? How should I address this situation legally?

Whether FIR has been registered against you ? If so, what is opinion of investigating agency qua allegation(s) ?

If false witness(es) have deposed against the accused, whether the accused cross-examined and put specific question(s) on such witness(es) ?

Incomplete and vague facts cannot lead to form proper opinion and oblige.

A case without a wound certificate is weaker, as it lacks medical evidence to substantiate the assault claim. Focus on disproving the allegations by highlighting the absence of injuries and questioning the credibility of the fake witnesses. Collect evidence, such as CCTV footage or alibi witnesses, to support your defense.

For this situation, you should seek a legal professional. We have lawyers who could help you out in your situation.

A criminal assault case without a wound certificate may be valid depending on the circumstances of the case. The court may consider other evidence and come to a conclusion.

Wound certificates are important evidence in criminal cases, especially those involving bodily harm.

The admissibility of a wound certificate depends on the circumstances of the case.

Without marking wound certificate, X-ray and medical records and without examining the Doctor who gave treatment to the victim, it is unsafe to convict the accused for the offence under Section 326 IPC
