family tree

I intend to purchase a house in new tippasandra bangalore. Since the owner of the flat received the land through ancestral property my advocate had asked for family tree.

The owner had produced a family tree certified by a village accountant from bangalore east. Is this proof enough.

Is it required to be taken from revenue officer from corporation

Family tree issued by village accountat is sufficient.  And for your information there is no prodecure o issue the family tree by any revenue officers.  The owner of the property who got the property thru., his ancestors has to give the details of the family members or family tree.

Publish a notice in the two local newspapers (one vernacular and one English widely read) giving details of the property and your intension to buy it and inviting objection from anyone having right/claim.

I never heard of family tree business not at least in Maharashtra.
