Dear Sir,
We are proposing to transfer the khata to our mothers name and have the Affidavit created relinquishing the rights in favor of our mother . We also have the Family tree created and notarized.
They are asking for a certified Family tree , where do we get this ?
How to apply for the same and what supporting docs are required ?
Is family tree required only in BBMP limits ?
Is it mandatory for Khata transfer ? is there any alternative if we do not get this ?

1) Village accountant of the concerned Taluk is the competent authority to issue the same on the basis details in support of its proof.
2)Application with swearing affidavit are sufficient along with supporting documents such as ID's proofs, death certificate,if any,etc.
3)It is not restricted to BBMP only,but as when occasions arise, it's a wanted document in all local bodies.
4) What you do here by changing Khata in to your mother's name that you are making your mother as full owner of the property in the concerned revenue records.So,is not it small thing.
