how can one fast track divorce proceedings when respondent adopts delaying tactics by absenting/ giving frivolous reasons of sickness etc to seek date extensions What is the best recourse when it comes to light that respondent has suppressed facts of financial status to claim higher maintenance.

If it is for evidence stage then proceed with your evidence. If it is for objection stage then submit befoe the court to pass an order of No Objection to the main petition.

For maintenance you should get stong proof of his income. The records where he work if not found the owner can be summoned to the court. The electricity bill and other bills he spent for a month. If he is a IT assesse then the IT returns. Generally whatever proof you can get that is bettter to get enhancement of maintenance. For delay tactics you should have a good lawyer who prevents the other side getting time.
