Sir, we have formed a NGO, for filing PIL (Public Interest Litigation) against the Property Tax Legislation, which is very bad in law as it has discrimination with respect to area in the same city based on collector rates, Firstly, the legislation is wrongly done, as it covers even the self occupied houses, taxing the vacant land, unproductive commercial premises and so on. We sincerely need the help from the members of this forum who can help us draft the PIL or can file the PIL, we are willing to pay the charges. what documents would be required by us for presentation before the High Court, Chandigarh? Please help.. our NGO is "Just for Justice" our aim is to fight injustice being done the the Govt. of Punjab on the Public at large, industries, shop-keepers and people from every walk of life. We intend to take up the case of Travel Agents; Business establishments & Industries facing the harassment under the VAT etc.
