Fir related

Sir, If F.I.R registered in one police station under section 420 of I.P.C and it is to be transferred on jurisdiction point of view to another police station thenwhat is the time limit and process. The Sub Inspector demanded lakhs of rupees for filing a case or FIR but we could not satisfy as he demanded. He seems to have been making a delay in transferring this FIR to another police station willfully.what is the remedy and how to proceed at this juncture?

There is no limitation period for transferring the FIR .

File RTI on police Or Obtain copy of FIR from court. It is the investigation which is to be done by other PS. There is no provisions in law to register second FIR, if once registered already.
