Vague query without relevant facts can not lead to form an opinion and oblige.

Consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts, guidance and proceeding.

In general, Hon Judge seeks from both counsels as to whether there is a scope for compromise through Lokadalat and explore the possibility.  Even if one party disagrees the rest of the proceedings start as per procedure. This is in Civil case.   If it is a criminal case the general procedure is to ask alleged as to whether he admit the crime, and naturaly he denies, and Hon. Judge orders for further proceedings.
