For Compounding Offence Under N.I. act, Procedure provided in Sec 320 of CRPC Should Be Adopted

 
No special procedure is prescribed for compounding of an offence under negotiable instruments act. In view of section 4 (2) of Code, the basic procedure of compounding an offence laid down in section 320 of the code will apply to compounding of an offence under negotiable instruments act.
