The Bahadurpura police on Monday booked a case against Shalibanda inspector S. Maheshwar for alleged forgery and cheating, following a court order.
Jaleel filed a petition in the Nampally court stating that a CBZ bike that was seized by the Shalibanda police was stolen from the police station. Based on the petition, the court directed Bahadurpura police to register cases under Section 420 (cheating), 465 (Punishment for forgery), 468 (Forgery for purpose of cheating) and 471 (Using as genuine a forged document) of the IPC.
