full n final settlement dispute

my husband worked in a hotel industries and now he left for better prospect. however his privious employer is now delaying the full n final settlement amount. Is there any legal action against the employer ?

Send legal notice asking them to make early settlement  of full and final, also mention failure to do so will need to the case at labor court.

yes served notice of 30 days and got reliving letter too.

In that case, you'll have to serve a legal notice to your employer for recovery of your lawful dues, along with interest, damages and notice fee. If your employer fails to repay within 15 days of the receipt of notice, you can proceed to file a suit for recovery against your employer in civil court. Dear Julina,

If your claim is against a company and amount is above one lac then you can proceed under Insolvency and Banckruptcy Code for initiating insolvency against the corporate debtor.
