Gherao

Kindly comment whether 'Gherao' is illegal ? Recently one of our managers was gheraoed. Whether such action infringes upon one rights?

Even if its peaceful gherao, it would be wrongful restraint. A violent gherao on the other hand is crime and punishable under IPC.
