gift of shares

Dear All,

What is the procedure for transfer of shares of as gift by a shareholder???

Is it compulsory to execute a gift deed on the stamp paper??

Will a gift deed executed on a normal paper and affixation of stamps worth Rs. 100 result into due compliance???

Regards,

Shreya Shah

1. Better to have a Gift Deed.

2. Gift Deed can b executed the way u mentioned.

3. Also need to get it registered (Transfer) with the Company.
