Dear  innocenthusband & autohide4u , kindly maintain dignity of forum and do not go personal and use or highlight incorrect and non professional words. In my first post I have mentioned that in CAW cell girl has filed for 498a and 406 , as per law caw will ask me for acceptance list of items in next meeting,I do not have copy of complaint ( RTI applied ) but CAW I/O told that they provided list and demanded 40 lakhs approx.

Question : Why I want to return Stridhan ASAP?

Answer : 1) in few forum threads People suggested that get rid of stridhan asap to prove that I m cooperating in caw and to get bail easily in case it is required.

2) Since I m working and not present all day in home so they might come in absence of me and make drama which is not good for my parents health and just for few itemsI do not want them to come and create drama at my residence.

3.In CAW cell and in few courts I visited people suffering for cases like this suggesting to return  or distroy items asap to avoid 406, else if any thing found in my home case will go in another direction.

Just for info to all I have not surrendered to girls demand and I m not affriad but precaution is better at this stage so I m looking for genuine suggestions without any personal fight or comments. It will be good if any court order or past real life reference shared by experts.

I was asking the process of return of stridhan , i m not going to return it without any formal request from any GOI or concern party.

i was looking help from you guys what if's but's do don't do like scenarios . since i m fresher in this case  i can do silly mistakes so need your expert guidance .

@innocenthusband if you have this experience you can suggest better, i would like to file counter case by using lady from my home against her dam, brother, sister etc,

@autohide4u  as per you women can fight without any witness , so it means girl do not need any witness for DV , so it implies my women family members can also file DV against her and her dad, brother, sister?

prestige and social status matters to me more then money that y i m fighting not not surrendered to thier demand.

in 40 Lakhs which they are demanding I can enjoy at least 5 years in europe so there is no chance of giving it to them or I can go out of india just like Mallya Modi and many more.I have many friends near and dear outside india who can feed me.I m technically qualified and get job easily.but my intention is to fight the case .

If you accept the list, you are accepting that you had demanded dowry. If you were such an honest and upright person, you shouldn't have demanded and accepted in the first place. The fastest way to losing your case is accepting her list. Go ahead with it because you seem to be well aware of the answers to your own questions.

Which is why you were told earlier to hand it over to a trusted person, not keep it with you. But since you plan to hand it over like suppandi, whats the problem?

There are freshers in a job or at college. There are no freshers when it comes to handling a criminal case. There is no scope for 'silly mistakes'. One mistake and youre done. Thats how the law works. There are no "give me another chance" in the court of law.

Though any forums does have it's share imparting 'wisdom' contributors, for the sanctity ad hominem should be avoided at all circumstances.

@OP, you can't blame the other party without some much sticking to you.

If you have wronged, you can't make it right and then try stick up the other party. You will be gulity. You seems to have done homweork and now you're trying to be smarter than system and want to play such a way that you win.

Be careful. There are many chupa rustom along the way. If your intention is to break away, then concentrate on that and breakawy. Even if it costs (amount is subject to negotiation). Indian lawyers don't like to be dictated what to do. Beacuse at the end and they will do what is conveinent to them. You have to let that part seep in your schme of things. This thread need not be 5 pages long.

May be time to rethink what is that you want and work on it.

I should say you may have some valid points. Don't let that go.
