wen u look for a job,dont u want a good salary,good perks etc?or do u want to work as a maid becoz it's a social service,ie,u r serving sumone?

and who says that the girls dont look for the groom's qualities,alongwith his capabilities?will the girl marry a rich guy even if he runs a prostitution racket?

if we go by your logic sony,then the following example can be cited:

if the girl's domestic servant is a virtuous man,but poor,the girl's parents shud still get her married to him,becoz he has "qualities"...even if he lives in a hut...

20-30 yrs back no one used to marry his daughter to a corrupt person, nowadays they dont marry their daughter to a honest person. obviously corrupt person will be economically well off and have bad moral , ethical values.

what else u can expect from such a corrupt person rich at cost of his morality.

i can bet an honest man in a government service with family/parents cannot afford to buy anything more than a hut in a metro like delhi. so to buy a good house u have to be corrupt.

this is a drastic sad change in society over past two TO three decades.

few exceptions are always there that parents get daughters married to corrupt person...not all are like that.

it cud also be that the boy's corruptive nature was unknown to girl's family..
