Gpa - clarification

Hi, I am Dinesh.

My sister is planning to buy a property through NRI Loan. Her husband is in Saudi and she is here in India.

Now, assumuing she will be a co-applicant, is GPA(Power of attorney) mandatory to apply for a loan?

Please confirm.

Thanks

Yes, since the husband is in saudia, he need to prepare Special Power of Attorney in favor of your sister, to enable your sister to obtain joint loan that is in the name of husnband and wife.
