Gpa missing

Hello.. I'm a first time buyer. Buying a residential house in north Bangalore. My bank first told the loan is sanctioned and confirmed via email. Now they have held up loan disbursement as they just found out a GPA doc is missing.. Pls advice how can I go ahead with this property registration safeguarding my property with this missing GPA..

Property background..

Mr. A was allotted a housing society site in the year 1977, it was later converted into BDA site in 1986.

This property was sold in 1996 through Mr. A's GPA representative Mr. B to Mr. C
(GPA DOCUMENT MISSING AND GPA NUMBER IS NOT MENTION IN THE SALE DEED)

Mr. C sold the property to Mr.D in 1996. Mr.D current property owner dint take the GPA copy or neither did he need it then is what he says now.

Mr. D and  Mr. C doesn't have GPA copy or GPA document number. We are unable to trace Mr. A and Mr.B

Please advice how can we go ahead without GPA but with safeguarding this property after it gets registered to me.

Thank You

Mr. A sold the property through GPA in the year 1996.  so apply for Encumbrance Certificates for 30 years from 1973 to till date and also fcertified copy of document of GPA 1996. then you can get copies of document which you required.
