Sir, I have completed 5yrs and 8 months in M/s. Alfa Carpeting Company Pvt. Ltd - Mumbai as a Admin Manager
My last Salary was Rs.29,000/-. I wants to know how to calculate Gratuity, because I asked Finance Director he
is not giving any calculation. I have resigned from company on 4th of December, 2012.

(((Basic+D.A.)*15)/26)*No. of years of service.
You may stress for VDA also if applicable.
Submit FormI under proper acknowledgment, without any delay, and do not forget to demand acknowledgment of having received your FormI. Prefer redg. post and avoid speed post/ courier.
If the Gratuity Fund is managed by LIC demand to provide you certified copy of the payment advice, amount disbursed by LIC for you.

You are eligible for gratuity on the last drawn basic pay plus Dearness Allowance or variable Dearness allowance. This has to be divided by 26 and then multiplied by 15 x number of years service. Service exceeding six months will be counted as one year for calculating the gratuity.
