you can very well sort out your issues by taking a rented place close by to your parents house . As and when you wish you can visit them and staying seperately too your privarcy too would be maintained as well as your relations with your family would be maintained .

As regards to your wife taking up a job its up to you to convince her . And if worse comes to worse than in what ever direction your case goes yo can always apply for Visitation under Gaurdians and wards act and at any cost you would be granted visitation .

I strongly feel you and your beloved wife need professional counselling. Relatives or family members have their biased nature and that is why you both have not been able to come into terms as yet.
