Hand loan with promissory note and cheques

Hi sir


I have given hand loan worth Rs 5 lakhs with promissory note and cheques. Now he is not responding pls kind suggest what should be done and how much time will it take to deliver justice if approach through court

You may approach court by consulting a local lawyer.

You may approach concern court by consulting a local lawyer and file a case against that opponent

1. Deposit the Cheque and when Cheque bounces, file "cheque bouncing" case u/s 138 N.I.Act, in the local Magistrates court, AFTER sending due legal notice to opposite party and on non-receipt of payment, file the above case, with supporting documentary evidences and witnesses.

2. ALSO file Civil Court Suit for Recovery of your amount, alongwith the above.

3. Any Court orders can be obtained between 1- 8 years of time, depending on your location.
