Sir,
I got married 5 Months back. It was an arranged marriage. Me and my wife both are earning and were spending life good. My wife earns more than me as she works in an MNC and I am in a govt department on contract which is ending in 2 months.
Sir due to some unwanted reason there was an fight between me and my wife, which we both sorted even by evening. but she went very next day to her parents home saying she is going for few days and will return.
Now its more than 50 days and she has not returned. I have mailed her many times and even called her but she is not picking my phone. When i called my FIL and requested him to send my wife back, my FIL said that I have tortured her daughter and she is depressed. My all family members tried to call her back by calling her and she misbehaved with my parents also for it. (Even when my FIL said that she is depressed)
I also went to her home few days back with my parents and relatives and she refused to return back, neither replied that when she will return. She misbehaved with all my elders and me.
We are afraid, as they are not responding to any of our calls or requests. we are afraid that they might take some legal action against us.
Sir I have written proof and audio recording of phone where i and my family members have requested my wife to return.
Sir can i send her an notice under section 9 as suggested by some police persons near my home. Can she file case against me in DV Act or Dowry act. We have not taken an single penny from them. I even have recording of her and her mother just after few days of our marriage in which they both have discussed that how to make fool of us.
please suggest what to do..
