Help

If I want to new use a new lawyer to attend 2nd petition, do I need anything in writing from the previous lawyer, he has gone to his home town to deal with family matters, I want to appoint new layer to attend, what do I need to do. Can I appoint new lawyer and notify the court ? Do I need permission from previous lawyer? he is not contactable at moment, Delhi.

Dear sHASHI,

to change lawyer you are required totake no Objection certificate from previous lawyer. You can say to court he is not accessible there is no communication possible so you can pray for further date in your matter .

Just have a talk with your previous lawyer and convey the same message to him after this You can proceed with your next advocate by signing the Fresh Vakalatnama..Don't forget to take your file from him.
