Much depends on the standing of the Counsel. There is no prescribed fees, but the fees must be reasonable from human point of view..

Irrespective of any Court (means MM criminal court, Civil court, Coop. Court, Sessions and High Courts),  the fee structure of an Advocates can vary from 100/-  to 10,00,000/- and upwards,  depending on the gravity of the matter and the number of man-hours that needs to be put in the case.

India, is not a Socalist country, where professional fees can be restricted.  In a Democratic country, the Professional fees, is as per the professional capacity & capability & discretion of the professional (which includes Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, Architects, CA and so on )

Some category of highly self-esteemed Lawyers, portray their Coats, their Offices and their arrogance level, which consequently reflect on their professinal fees.

Always, engage an advocate, who has through professional expertise and specialisation in the particular subject,  irrespective of the fees that he may be charging.

Persons "below the poverty line",  may apply for "legal aid", with the respective courts.

Other persons looking for "free services", may self-represent their own cases.
