Hindu-christian marriage

I am a 24 year old Christian in a relationship with a 26 year old Hindu (Scheduled Caste). We are hoping to get married by next year. However, neither of us want to relinquish our religion. I would like to know how we can get married under Special Marriage Act. Do we have to convert?. Would it be acceptable if the marriage was solemnised by priests from both religions? Kindly advise.

You can get married as if it is a registered marriage.  No need to be solemnized by priests.  YOu do not need to be converted to get married under Special marriage act.

Dear Rincy

as you inform that both of you are adult, so you have right to marry each other without relinquesh your religion under Special Marriage act.

feel free to call
