How does a divorce case proceed in high court?

How does a family court divorce case proceed in the high court, after it has been moved there from the family court? What are the stages? Will there be any fresh trial or cross exams?

an order is appealable under Section 19 of the Family Courts Act. No trials, no cross examinations again in the high courts.

The procedure followed by high court on appeal is different to that of trial court.  the high court will accept the counter to the appeal and post the case straightaway for enquiry of both the sides and post it for arguments.  No cross examination of witnesses of lower court again.
