You have to file RTI Application to concerned Municipality or corporation and seek information about the name of property owner with Assessment No.................House No........................situated at................................Ward No.....................and seek certified copies of mutation records. After obtaining the Document No....and date, approach to Sub Regitrar and seek Encumbrance Certificate of the property. If you are in business, you can not focus on all these issues and entrust this work to a solicitor and get clear legal opinion basing on records available with you.

1. Collect the detailed address of the property and approach the Municipal and/or the Revenue authorties, by filing an RTI application and seek all the information that you wish, which includes the Property Tax extract, the Agreement copies etc....
