my landlord took one month security deposit. after an year, he increased rent by 10%, which I gave. now he asking me to increase security deposit to match current rent. is this right ? ( Eg, I started at Rs. 5000 rent, and Rs. 5000 security deposit; after one year he is asking for rent Rs 5500, which I have given. now he says, to increase security deposit to match current rent, that is Rs. 5500). Am I required to increase the security deposit ?
