I had file a case in consumer court for refund of tution fee and hostel fee of my daughter. In this regard registrar of university had written a letter to principal of the institute for refund of my money. but institute has not refunded the money. then I filed a case in consumer court. my case was dismissed on the ground that I am not a consumer, and forum president also mentioned that refund of fee is also pending. The case was to be filed by actual consumer.
Now my daughter has filed a case after 3 months of judgement in the same consumer forum within the time limit of 2 years.
The opposite party is not appearing the forum for written statement after admission of my daughter case and stating through the lawyer letter that authorised staff/lawyer is not available.
Pl. provide the all drawbacks and merits of my daughter case so that i can fight it in proper way.
