Information Technology Companies under which act???

I am working for an Information Technology Campany in General and night shifts..

I want to know info about Weekly Holidays and night shift allowance.

Under which act does IT companies come???

Factories Act

Bombay Shops & Establishments Act

It is the Shops Act. Factories Act has no applicabilty in a software company.

First check with your company, they will have specified policy on these matters. The private sector has power to arrange its affairs and they can change the rules in line with Industries(Development & Regulations) Act. Therefore, first get to know what their policy is. You would signed a contract, re-read it carefully to understand the leave policy. It will usually be well explained document.
