Please could you advise me on below :
I have three insurance policies with Exlide Life Insurance. One of the insurances plan if a money back and I was to be paid 12000 Rupess in 2014 however it was not paid and transferred to my other policy as a contribution to that policy. Excide Life claims that they sent the communication to my residence through ordinary post asking me to confirm my bank details, which I never received, and then they transferred the money without my consent. When asked they are asking for apology and paying the amount with 4% interest however I cannot accept less than FD interest.
Please advise if I can go to consumer forum and seek compensation.
