Ipc 493 in progress after marriage

Hi,

There is case on me in IPC 493,420,417 on March2013, one of the my relative girl put a case on me saying that she got pregnant with me. I went to jail and got bail after remand. After i came to home, she went to police station and said that she want add an IPC 376. now SI and CI forced me to go for marriage with her. and i got marriage with her in June. Now she gave birth to a baby. Case is still in progress. I want to know the following?

1) Can i continue the case and go for the DNA test after marriage the same lady?

2) Can i put any legal case on both SI and CI, who forced me to go for marriage after remand?

Please advise me on this case...Thanks in advance

Answer question-wise:

1. If you are innocent, you can take that risk.

2. Certaininly. You can ask for annulment of marriage on the ground of forced consent.

when they asked u to marry her , why u did not insist her to withdraw the complaint, then what is the point in going for marriage and continuing with the case, i really do not understand. coming back to your query, yes if the case is going on still u can ask for DNA test, and as the above counsel had said rightly,u can go for annulment of marriage, since it was done under coercion and undue influence and more important police station marriages are not valid.
