Ranee mam What if husbands start contesting divorce petitions and selling ancrstral property and encashing on their gfs or concubines...?? Where is this new law leading the basics of HMA...its pureness and sanctity......???? If husbands pays interims in 24hma for years n years n keeps a concubine and spends on her claiming desertion by wife so why alimony then....???? If he cimes back or takes back wife for 3-3 months or wife leaves him fir money without any of his fault then.....?? Still has to pay....???

New sec introduced in divorce.

1.really thanks for explaining.....can decree passed and money decided in irbm along with divorce be challenged in higher courts ....????
2.within 90days of order and payments denied ifs it is too much....??????
3. can marraige petition itself be dismissed if wife files 13 c or irbm and husband wants co hab...???but its only wife deserting...?????
4. any advice...?????

This amendment is in the form of bill yet...not a law.So don't worry so much.In between try to settle the matter through mutual consent divorce.

What if already wife has filed divorce us 13 1 ia & huddy filed divorce & case is at cross stage.. Then how can wife file divorce under IRBM????? I hav heard that IRBm is applicable only for marriages under special marriage act

@author my gut feeling is that this bill has been introduced by ruling party only  to garner votes

 by holding out a pre election promise, with no intention of getting it   passed.The bill will be allowed to lapse and LOKSABHA

elections will be  announced.same thing had happened last time also. even a lay man can say that bill in its present form will not stand in SC.

If they were serious about IRBM they would have drafted it meticulously.
