is reply necessary for advocate notice

I got a advocate notice with full of false 498A and DV allegations and in the last paragraph he gave a warning that if I don't bring back they will file cases against me. My query is 1.First of all do I need to reply it. 2.If yes, within how much time frame, do I need to file reply. 3. Can I write reply myself or through advocate only? 4. Will they really consider my reply or its just a formality?

A legal notice should always be replied either by self or through a lawyer.Make note of the entire contents of the notice carefully and give a reply enying all the allegations mentioned.Generally time frame will be mentioned in the notice.

When you receive the notice do reply of that notice either by you or through your lawyer, read the notice and deny all the allegations which she had imposed on you, you will get the time period to respond the notice in it .

There was no timeframe mentioned in notice. I approached a lawyer in Hyderabad. He contacted the notice issuing lawyer, he replied they are not interested in compromise/union at all and if I pay 15/16 lakhs, they will not put any cases. Actually I called the girl and asked her to comeback few days before to Ganesh chaturthi so that disputes should be resolved and she will be with me by marriage anniversary on 09.10. It turned out in opposite and got this lawyer notice on 07.10. as marriage anniversary gift. May god bless them.

I consulted an advocate, he contacted the opponent advocate who issued me that notice. They are not at all interested in this relationship and demanding 15lakhs for not to file any false cases against me.
