Job consultants

These days, we found ad's for vaccancies in private banks.  Consultants dealing with these ad's charge Rs. 2000.00 as registration charge and issue registration number to the candidate for correspondance.  Later on they once or twice receive candidates call and after that keep on avoiding on the pretext of being busy, in meeting or out of office.  After a time period candidate receives the call saying that you interview has fixed in the perticular bank, you will receive a call regarding venue of the interview.  Sometimes interview is telephonically.  after interview when the candidate enquires the status of his interview he is asked to arrange for money apprsx. Rs. 8000.00 to 12000.00.  This money has to be paid for filling bank form/given to the authorities doing recument in perticular organisation.

The candidates who are in need of job fall in the trap of such consultants and even loose their money.  Those who argue regarding money- wheither it's reciept will be given, about the surety of job are given discount of one to two theousand.  It is clearly said that untill you pay the amount we can't do any thing.

I would  like to know from the forum members, whether such type of consultants are authantic/legal.  if not what can be done so that the needy and aspirant candidated do not fall in the trap of such consultants and loose the hard earned money.

Please suggest

The consultants who charge the candidates are not genuine, they are like worms sucking the blood of the innocent candidates.  It is for the candidate to identify such fake and bogus consultants and keep away from them.  The consultants will get paid by the employer for recruiting and sending the suitable candidates for employment hence beware of such fraudulent consultants.  in the event of victimisation, a complaint with the local police station about the ongoing cheating or scam can be lodged.
