Joint Cricketism: England on top of Sri Lankans
-DR. ABDUL RUFF
_________
Joint cricket exercises continue to dominate matches fixed by ICC on behalf of nations. Joint cricketism is as bogus as bribed polls.
After convincingly thrashing the hosts from London who had arrived in Colombo with blessings from Cameron and the Queen, the Lanka boys seem to have decided to obey the Rajapksha orders for offering good runs in the second test to the poor English batboys/openers who have had good “records” of runs in their career, upon somehow being allowed to make 270 runs in the first innings.
Obviously, because English boys want make it sure that the “top” batboys have made enough runs in the first innings itself as the in the first test, they all were cheaply removed form the crease.
The important point here is not who would win the second test - that is immaterial because the teams must have already decided that and it looks they would like to go for a draw - but how could they offer big runs to select batboys without targeting the stumps/LBW until, of course, towards the end.
India wants Sri Lanka to lose now. Not only because England would lose its bogus ranking number one. Indian worry is simple. If Sri Lanka wins, it would replace India as the number 3 rank-holder!
Rankings records are bogus. Cricketism is bogus!
