Joint registration with single owner on sale agreement

I purchased a flat in Karnataka which is under construction & possession will be by June-15. The builder's sale agreement is only in my name, however I would like to have registration in me & my Wife's name (as co-owner) both. Is it possible? Do I need to change in the sale agreement also, whether Builder will accept or its too much process.? There is no loan pending on this property.
